2 years Before the events of the Prologue occurred (2BBF (before battlefield 4)). Maybe I should call it a Postlogue because of the time difference, is that how it works? or should I have just called it Chapter 1. Who cares.
Ramiel D'Arcangelo woke from his midday slumber to a strange feeling. It was not a feeling that he was unused to but never-the-less it was strange. It was as though he had dreamed a thousand dreams, each dream seemed to last a lifetime, each dream portrayed the possible future and destinies of a thousand people.
These dreams had been occurring since his 25th birthday. He was now 26. It wasnt until months later, after much bewilderment, that he had discovered these werent your run of the mill, everyday bullshit waste of time dreams. These dreams were in fact a culmination of the potential of the person he was dreaming about. A brief picture of the best possible outcomes of their lives, if you will.
Of course, the idea of the best path to a great life is a very subjective. Who decides whether the life that was chosen by a hermit to live in solitude is, or is not, a better life than another who chooses to work hard and live in a mansion and fuck bad bitches every night while smoking the green goblin and gulping down copious amounts of hennessey. (I know which one i'd choose). Well, to make things clear, in this instance, the best possible life was one that meant the person living it would be happier than any other path that could have been chosen.
Anyway, back to the story... After Ram had first realised what these dreams meant, it only raised more questions. One question more than any other burnt in his mind. 'Why can I see everyones potential and destiny when I cant even see my own?'. Ram had spent the last few years moving from city to city, even across countries to try and find what it was he wanted to do in life. Each time he was left feeling lost and useless. Until now.
He began very carefully. Speaking a few choice words of wisdom into the ear of someone behind a coffee counter. Giving tips to strangers and passersby as he attended his daily tasks of chilling out and taking it easy. It seemed to Ram that this might be what he was born for, to help people reach thier potential. It also seemed to be working.
The people he tried to help without them knowing got happier, some even became quite successful, at the same time he was secretly becoming quite a cool and insightful dude to hang out with. This was happening even though he was only slightly pushing then in the right directon, they still werent reaching their full potentials, only around 10% was being achieved!!
After a few months of these small wins, Ram decided it was time to step it up a notch and give someone the full montie, the whole nine yards, everything...
And he knew who would be the perfect test subject...
